Delete your account

You can delete your Committee Book account inside the app at any time. If you no longer have the app installed, send us a request below.

In the app

  1. Open Committee Book and tap Profile in the bottom bar.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete.
If you are the admin of an active committee, transfer admin to another member first so the committee can continue.

Request deletion from the web

This opens your email app with a request to support@committeebook.com. We verify the phone number before deleting.
  • What is deletedAccess is removed and profile data is deleted after required operational tasks (e.g., admin transfer).
  • What may remainCertain records that affect other members (e.g., announcements, audit entries) may remain to preserve integrity.
  • Payment proofsArchived 6 months after completion and deleted within 24 months of dissolution. See the privacy policy.
  • Usage analyticsPseudonymous analytics data expires automatically within 14 months. Ask us in your request and we will delete it sooner.
