Committee app

The committee app for BC and kameti groups

Committee Book replaces the notebook and the WhatsApp group. Admins and members see the same record: who has paid, who is next, and how every draw was decided. Free on Android, in English, اردو and हिन्दी.

Why run your committee in an app?

A committee runs on trust, and trust needs a clear record. Most committee disputes start with one of these:

  • Payments tracked in a notebook or a WhatsApp group, and argued over months later.
  • Members asking the admin, again, who has paid this month.
  • Draws done with paper slips that members who weren’t there can’t check.
  • No record of who received the pot, or when.

Everything a committee admin needs, in one place

  • Members and invites

Create a committee with the amount, members and cycle. Invite people or approve join requests, and add a co-admin.

  • Payment proofs

Members upload a screenshot or PDF of each payment. Admins accept it, or reject it with a reason.

  • Reminders

Members are reminded before every due date, and notified when proofs are reviewed and draws run.

  • Fair draws

Run a seeded random draw or use a fixed order. Anyone can re-run the seed to confirm the winner.

  • Reports

Collection rate, defaulters and pending proofs for every cycle, in one place.

  • Audit trail and disputes

Draws, proofs and admin actions are logged and cannot be edited. Members can raise a dispute with evidence.

Your money never passes through the app

Members keep paying each other the way they already do: bank transfer, mobile wallet or cash. Committee Book only records the payment and its proof, so there is nothing for the app to lose, freeze or charge for. New to committees? Read what a committee is and how it works or how to run one.
