How the numbers work
The pot is the monthly amount times the number of members. With 10 members paying Rs 10,000 a month, the pot is Rs 100,000, and one member receives it each month.
One cycle per member. A monthly committee with 12 members runs for 12 months, so every member receives the pot exactly once.
No. Every member pays in the same total and receives the same pot. Members who receive early get an interest-free advance, and the last member gets back exactly what they saved.
Early is useful if you need the money for something planned, but you must keep paying afterwards. Late works like saving, with no risk of owing the group. Either way the total is the same.
